Photography and Canvas style Art are as cousins in my opinion, perhaps even closer. Human kinds earliest interest in photography would surely have been conveyed through the use of early paintings. As a means of holding onto vibrant scenes of life and conveying them to others in a manner that goes beyond what memory alone can offer. My appreciation for art has developed over the years, but has been one of the admirer rather than the artist. To be able to convey onto canvas, scenes the mind has beheld or the imagination dreamed, speaks of depths of contact with elements of reality and non that may often be overlooked. With talent unmeasured and brush in hand the artist can weave a moment of time into a visual treasure, the whole of which that can say so much, impart inspiration or perhaps elegantly enhance a basic rooms appearance. If you have an interest in Art and wish to express those interest, then by all means sign up and share them.
